Rust in the Blue is the first original in the Unfolded Intuition series — a collection that explores intuitive movement, emotional layering, and the freedom to see from every angle.
 
This piece began with a cool, almost muted palette: navy blues, army green, and charcoal undertones. It sat in that space for some time — still, unresolved, and heavy with masculine energy. At first, it felt finished. But the artist returned with a need to soften, to shift the energy, and to let instinct take over.
 
Through the addition of warm, rust-toned textures and subtle layered movement, the work transformed. Not into something controlled — but into something more open, more personal. The warmth doesn’t overpower the cool; it weaves through it, adding depth, contradiction, and softness. The result is a painting that holds contrast with harmony — structure with surrender.
 
Like all works in the Unfolded Intuition concept, this piece was created without a fixed direction. It is designed to be rotated and re-experienced from multiple perspectives. While the current orientation reflects the artist’s own favourite viewpoint at the time of completion, it’s only one of many. You are encouraged to turn it, respond to it, and let your own perspective guide how it lives in your space.
 
Rust in the Blue speaks to transformation through instinct — and marks the beginning of a body of work shaped by emotional freedom and the courage to not have all the answers.
